Green Screen London, an initiative of Film London and the London Mayor's office, will shortly be launching a Climate Change Action Plan with the aim of helping film, TV and commercial producers cut climate change emissions.

One of the biggest sources of carbon emissions in the film industry is travel. Many companies and productions already offset their emissions but the British Film Institute are also researching the use of high-quality video conferencing as a means of reducing the need for long-distance travel at some stages of pre-production, production and post-production.
